1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment via YOCO. Your booking is not secured until payment is received and you have received a confirmation email from Mountain Goat Guides.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 72+ hours before your hike: full refund or free reschedule.
- Cancellations made 24–72 hours before your hike: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: non-refundable except in genuine emergencies at our discretion.
- Weather cancellations initiated by Mountain Goat Guides: full refund or free reschedule.
3. Health & Fitness
By completing a booking, you confirm that all members of your group are physically capable of completing the selected hike. Mountain Goat Guides reserves the right to refuse participation or alter a route on the day if a guide determines a participant is unfit to safely complete the hike.
4. Safety & Liability
Hiking in natural environments carries inherent risk. Mountain Goat Guides takes all reasonable precautions for your safety, but cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or losses arising from participation in our activities where reasonable safety standards have been followed.
All guides are FGASA certified and carry first aid equipment. All participants are required to follow guide instructions at all times.
5. Photography
Mountain Goat Guides may photograph hikes for marketing purposes. By booking, you consent to the use of group photographs on our website and social media. Please notify us at time of booking if you do not wish to be photographed.
6. Changes to Terms
Mountain Goat Guides reserves the right to update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
